The property industry was hit by the outbreak of Corona virus, resulting in consumers postponing their purchases and the potential default on purchased properties due to layoffs. The Marketing Director of PT Ciputra Residence stated that the virus outbreak has caused the delay in property development and property sales and lesser new transactions. From the positive side, the market is dominated by the locals which still exist despite the slowdown.
