The Ministry of Public Works and Housing aims to complete the first phase of the Probolinggo-Banyuwangi (Probowangi) Toll Road which comprises 3 sections from Gending to Besuki, a National Strategic Project, to be completed in December 2024. The Toll Road Management Agency (BPJT) recorded the average construction progress of the First Phase of Probowangi Toll Road has reached 43.95%. The first phase project will also comprise three interchanges and three toll gates, namely Krakasan, Paiton and Besuki.
