The President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo inaugurated the first toll road in Aceh, the Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road Section 4 Indrapura-Blang Bintang. The 14-kilometer toll road is part of the Trans Sumatera Toll Road (JTTS) which connects Aceh and Lampung with the total length of 2,765 kilometers. JTTS is expected to boost economic growth and distribution on Sumatera Island and to cut travel time on this corridor to 53 hours.
