In the OECD Economic Surveys Indonesia November 2024 edition, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) reported that Indonesia’s economy will grow by 5.2% yoy in 2025. This projection is in line with the target of the government in the 2025 State Budget. The growth in 2025 will be driven by strong consumption with the potential for private investment to increase. However, fiscal deficit might expand due to the spending for the development of Nusantara Capital City (IKN), which is estimated to remain below the 3% limit.
