In the first semester of 2020, the manufacturing sector increased to Rp129.6 trillion or 23.9% from the same period in 2019 when it was recorded at Rp104.6 trillion. Based on the data from the Coordinating Board of Investment (BKPM), the manufacturing sector significantly contributed to the foreign exchange reserves in the January-June 2020 period, at 32.2% of the total Rp402.6 trillion investment.
