PT Kawasan Industri Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) continues the extension of Kendal Special Economic Zone (KEK) or Kendal Industrial Park (KIP) to 860 hectares due to the increasing demands. Previously, KIP is known as Kawasan Industri Kendal, a joint venture between Sembcorp Development Ltd and KIJA who owns 51% of the total shares. By the end of 2019, KIP has managed 700 hectares of industrial estate.
