In addition to the tourism sector, the Meeting, Incentive Travel, Conference & Exhibition (MICE) is also hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Indonesia Event Industry Council (Ivendo) of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraft) reports the potential loss from MICE sector may reached Rp2.69 trillion to Rp6.94 trillion after 96.43% events in 17 provinces were postponed and 84.20% was cancelled. Kemenparekraf and the industry practitioners are striving to increase the industry’s capabilities, infrastructure of technology network and new innovations.
