Investment Realization in Batam Reaches Rp29.89 Trillion in 1H-2026

The Mayor of Batam City who is also Batam Business Agency Head ex officio (BP) Amasakar Achmad reported that realized investment in Batam in the first half of 2026 reached Rp29.89 trillion or grew by 62.75% from Rp8.37 trillion in the same period last year. The increase in investment was also reflected from the accelerated projects realization with 6,932 projects already entering the production phase, increasing by 52.32% from the first semester of 2025, meanwhile under construction projects grew by 20.78% to 8,894 projects.
