Infrastructure Projects Face Delay

Indonesia government cuts the infrastructure budget and to focus on the funding of Covid-19 pandemic mitigation and as instructed in the Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 54/2020, the Ministry of Finance has cut the budget for central government by Rp87.5 trillion to Rp1,596 trillion. Budget for infrastructure projects including budget for the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) was also cut by 20.4% from Rp120.22 trillion to Rp95.68 trillion.
