From the targeted 119 companies, 29 companies from Taiwan potentially relocate their factories to Indonesia as production base diversification. The potential investment from the 119 companies reach US$41.39 billion (Rp608 trillion). Before the Covid-19 pandemic, Taiwanese companies based their production in China and in the last five years until the first semester of 2020, 42% of its total investment was in China worth US$43.12 billion. While in Indonesia, Taiwan invested US$2.05 billion.
