The Indonesia government promised a business friendly regulation for the property sector after the implementation of Cipta Kerja Law in September which will apply regulation efficiency, including the spatial regulation, land bank provisions, right to use (HPL), above/below ground spaces and land ownership for foreigners. Starting next year, the government will also implement fully the electronic land services with the aim to reach the 40th position ease of permit processing in 2021 from the currently 73rd place.
