Indonesia Aims for 5.3% Growth Despite IMF's Lower Projection

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) cuts its global economic growth for 2020 to 3.3% from 3.4%. The government of Indonesia has included this factor in its projection of national growth at 5.3%. To reach this projection, the government has planned several policy, including to reduce its small scale credit interest rate (Kredit Usaha Rakyat) from 7% to 6% and to boost export oriented investment and to substitute import to strengthen purchasing power. -Kontan.co.id
