The House of Representatives (DPR) has ratified the Stamp Duties Regulation Draft (RUU), canceling the Rp3,000 and Rp6,000 stamp duties into a single Rp10,000 stamp duty. The regulation is effective starting from 1 January 2021, thus documents with value equal to or less than Rp5 million will no longer require a stamp duty. Furthermore, the government will ease the use of Rp3,000 and Rp6,000 stamp duty until 31 December 2021.
