The government prepares nine new toll road projects of 412.22 kilometers in length with Rp108.31 trillion of investment to connect strategic areas on Java and Bali Islands. Until early 2021, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) will prepare new eight toll roads as visioned by President Joko Widodo in the five-year development (2020-2024). As of the third quarter of 2020, several projects worth Rp53.6 trillion have started construction, including the Solo-Yogyakarta Toll Road, BIJB Access Toll Road, NS Link Bandung, Harbour Road Priok-Pluit to Ancol.
