The Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) states that domestic property investment in 2019 has surged by 79%, from Rp24.57 trillion to Rp43.96 trillion. The number of projects also increased from 1,142 projects to 3,942 projects. However, foreign investment declined by 34% from Rp74.37 trillion to Rp48.82 trillion, whereas the number of projects increased from 3,129 projects to 5,012 projects.
