The Bank of Indonesia (BI) will launch Payment ID on Indonesia's Independence Day on 17th August. Payment ID is a unique code integrated with the National Identification Number (NIK) and is designed to optimize granular data and is a part of 2030 Indonesia Blueprint Payment System (BSPI). Payment ID will monitor the public’s financial transactions, including sources of income, spending, loan history, investments, and their involvement in online gambling and online loan.
