BI is optimistic that the positive economic recovery trend in the third quarter of 2020 will continue to the fourth quarter, albeit restricted, with the support of government’s spending. The trade balance in the third quarter of 2020 was recorded with US$8.03 billion surplus, improving from US$2.89 billion in the second quarter. In the 2021 State Budget Discussion, Indonesia’s economy is projected to grow up to 5.8% in 2021.
