The Central of Bank Indonesia (BI) reported that several indicators have shown a sign of economic recovery in the fourth quarter of 2020 despite the economic growth still recorded at minus 2.19%. As previously not expected by the Central Bank, the realized economic growth in the fourth quarter was better than the 3.49% (yoy) contraction in the third quarter and 5.32% (yoy) contraction in the second quarter. Annually, the economic growth is recorded at minus 2.07% (yoy).
