The President of the United States Donald Trump officially sets reciprocal tariffs for 14 countries, including Indonesia who is subject to a 32% tariff. This tariff on goods entering the US will be effective on 1st August. The reciprocal tariff is aimed to create fair trade among US’s trade partners. Amidst the global tariff escalation, Trump also threatened to impose an additional 10% tariff to BRICS members who implement “anti-American” policies.
