President Prabowo Subianto stated that the Giant Sea Wall project which spans the total of 535 kilometers will soon start with the aim to counter land subsidence, particularly along the northern coast of Java. The project which will stretch from Banten to Gresik will require up to US$80 billion or approximately Rp1,297 trillion in investment.
