State Budget Deficit at Rp240.1 Trillion as of March 2026

The Finance Minister (Menkeu) Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa reported that the State Budget (APBN) in the first quarter of 2026 recorded with Rp240.1 trillion deficit or 0.93% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The state spending was recorded at Rp815 trillion annually or increase by 31.4%, while the state revenue was recorded with 10.5% increase to Rp574.9 trillion annually. The minister explained that the State Budget is designed to be in deficit as the State Budget is aimed to be in balance all through the year as normalcy.
