State Budget Deficit as of May 2026 Reaches Rp180.4 Trillion

In the Central Government Financial Report (LKPP), the Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that the 2025 State Revenue and Spending Budget (APBN) deficit declined to 2.8% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Despite the decline, this deficit was higher than the targeted 2.53%. This year, the deficit is estimated to reach 2.9% of GDP from the targeted 2.6j8%. As of May 2026, the deficit has reached Rp180.4 trillion while tax revenue as of 16th June reached Rp940 trillion.
