In the 2024 National KEK Work Meeting in Jakarta held on Friday (20th December), the Special Economic Zones (KEK) in Indonesia are aimed to attract a total of Rp76.8 trillion in new investments in 2025. The optimism is supported by the cumulative achievement of Rp256.7 trillion recorded in November 2024. Based on the report from the KEK Development and Management Business Agency (BUPP), there were six KEKs which successfully realized the investment and employment target of more than 100% in 2024.
