PT Hutama Karya (Persero) (HK) reported that the construction progress of Padang-Sicincing Toll Road, which is a part of the Trans Sumatra (JTTS) toll network, has reached 58.76%. The project, which has the total length of 36 kilometers and the investment value of Rp9.8 trillion, is planned to be operational in July 2024. The project is aimed not only to cut the travel time from Sicincin to Padang to 30 minutes but also to boost the potential of positive growth for the tourism sector in the region.
