MRT Reveals Phase 2A Bundaran HI-Kota Progress Reaches 63.04% in September 2026

MRT Jakarta reported that progress on the Phase 2A Bundaran HI-Kota project reached 65.1% as of September 2026, exceeding the target of 63.04%. The Rp25.3 trillion project covers a 5.8-kilometer underground line with seven stations connecting Bundaran HI and Kota. Segment 1, from Bundaran HI to Monas, is targeted for completion by the end of 2027, while the full route is expected to be completed by 2029. Several construction packages have reached substantial completion, supporting continued project momentum. MRT Jakarta remains optimistic about meeting its operational target in 2029.
