Kendal Special Economic Zone Contributes Rp3.61 Trillion Investment to Central Java in 1Q-2026

Central Java realized nearly Rp23.02 trillion investment in the first quarter of 2026, with Kendal Regency contributing Rp3.6 trillion from Kendal Special Economic Zone (KEK) which currently signing a new phase of strategic partnership between PT Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) and Sembcorp Development Ltd from Singapore. Kendal KEK, which is developed with the vision to be the development center of modern industry with global competitiveness, recorded 39 business entities with the accumulated investment commitments reaching Rp89.6 trillion in the same quarter.
