Indonesia's foreign exchange reserves stood at US$152.5 billion by the end of May 2025, equivalent to Rp2,482.7 trillion (at the assumed exchange rate of Rp16,280 per US$), unchanged from the end of April 2025. The foreign exchange reserve is equal to 6.4 months of import or 6.2 months of import and government foreign debt payment, which is above the standard international adequacy of approximately 3 months of import.
