Hotel Occupancy Rate Increases 20% - 30% During 2026 School Holiday

The Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) recorded hotel occupancy rate increased by approximately 20% to 30% to 70% to 80% during the 2026 school holiday compared from 40% to 50% during regular days. One of the driving factors amidst the sluggish economy recovery was Rupiah depreciation which prompted some consumers to travel domestically; and the start of corporate and government markets to hold conference in hotels, specifically in the second and third quarter of 2026
