Industrial Estate Association (Himpunan Kawasan Industri) proposes that industrial land lease can reach 80 years, as applied by other countries with rent decided by business calculation and not by the government to attract factory relocation from China to Indonesia. Previously, the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has prepared a concept that allows investors to invest in Batang, Central Java, which will soon be inaugurated, without having to buy and instead lease for a long term by cooperating with State Owned Enterprises.
