Government to Transform GBK into Jakarta's New Icon

The Indonesian government to finalized the total redesign plan of Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) with the main focus to transform the sport and commercial areas into a new icon in Jakarta. GBK’s new design will optimize its green open spaces and expand the open areas while also including integrated transportation hub for ease in accessibility. The government also welcomes investors to collaborate in this project, although the form of cooperation is currently under formulation.
