Government to Groundbreaking the Giant Sea Wall in September 2026

The Governor of DKI Jakarta Pramono Anung is currently developing the National Capital Integrated Coaster Development (NCICD) in northern Jakarta to prevent tidal flooding from inundating the center of the capital. NCICD in Ancol area has been concluded and is currently in the finishing phase. Together with the central government, Jakarta will also construct an offshore giant sea wall with the groundbreaking ceremony planned for September.
