Government Sets 23% Higher Tax Revenue in 2026

The Indonesian government has set the 2026 tax revenue at Rp2,357.7 trillion, reaching a 23% increase from last year’s realization. One of the main sources is the entity value added tax (PPh), which is set at approximately Rp434.42 trillion or 35.16% increase from 2025 realization of Rp321.4 trillion. To achieve this target, the Tax Directorate General (Ditjen) of the Ministry of Finance has increased the monitoring and intensified the 2026 tax subject checking.
