The Indonesian government accelerates the planning to develop the Giant Sea Wall project with the aim to protect 60% of national industry centers located along Java’s Norther Shore (Pantura) and more than 30 million citizens as a part of the great agenda to develop climate change mitigation based infrastructure development. The project will span the total of 500-700 km from Banten to Gresik. Currently, the project is under planning phase and is aimed to start the groundbreaking in September 2026.
