Government Eternal Debt Rises to US$216.3 Billion in 2Q-2026

The Bank of Indonesia (BI) reported that the national foreign debt (ULN) in the second quarter of 2026 reached US$216.3 billion or increasing by 2.9% yoy, declined from 3.8% yoy in the first quarter of 2026. The increase was driven by the capital inflow in State Bonds (SBN) which reflects investors’ confidence in Indonesia’s well maintained economy.
