Government and House of Representatives Set the 2027 Economic Target at 5.8% to 6.5%

The Indonesian government and the House of Representatives (DPR) have agreed to set the 2027 economic growth target at 5.8%-6.5% as the foundation to reach 8% growth, .5%-3.5% inflation rate, Rupiah at Rp16,800-Rp17,500 per US Dollar, and the budget deficit at 1.8%-2.4% of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). They will rely on the prioritized program effectiveness, investment strengthening, deregulation, and the synergy of fiscal, monetary, and financial policies to achieve these targets.
