Government Aims GDP Growth at 6% in 2023

The Finance Ministry aims to achieve Indonesia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth to reach by 6% in 2023 through the mid-term structural reform, starting with the state budget in 2022. The government will spend more on improving human capital and infrastructures, as well as bureaucratic and regulatory reforms, including the implementation of the Job Creation Law. The government projects that the nation’s economy will grow between 4.5% and 5.3% this year and between 5.4% and 6% in 2022.
