BYD to Inaugurate Rp11 Trillion Factory in Subang

BYD Indonesia is set to inaugurate its completed Rp11.7 trillion electric vehicle assembly plant in Subang Smartpolitan, West Java, on September 3, 2026. Spanning 126 hectares with an annual capacity of 150,000 units, the facility serves as BYD's second Southeast Asian factory and its right-hand-drive production hub for the ASEAN market, benefiting from direct access to Patimban Port. The investment aims to strengthen Indonesia’s automotive manufacturing ecosystem, boost local employment, and expand BYD's regional sales and service network.
