The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) recorded foreign tourist visits in July 2020 at 159,800 visits, 0.95% higher than in June 2020. During the January-July 2020 period, foreign visits were recorded at 3.2 million, 64.64% lower annually. The majority of tourists came via road travel at 66.3%. Meanwhile, Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in July increased by 8.37 points to 28.07% from 19.70% in June, albeit 28.66 points lower annually.
