BPS reported the 2020 inflation at 1.68%, the lowest since it started the inflation data compilation back in 1966. Compared to 2014, 2020 inflation was at the low level. In 2014, inflation was recorded at 8.3%, then it declined to 3.35% in 2015. In 2016, inflation was recorded at 3.02% and in 2017 at 3.61%. In 2018, inflation was recorded at 3.13% and in 2019 at 2.72%.
