BPS: Hotel Occupancy Rate at 52.84% in October 2025

The Statistics Indonesia (BPS) reported the occupancy rate in star-rated hotels at the average level of 52.84% in October 2025, or increasing 2.68% from the previous month. However, this level declined by 2.83% annually. The Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants Association (PHRI) reported that hotel occupancy rate for the coming Christmas and New Year Holidays is projected to decline with the weakening in the public’s purchasing power as the main factor for the decline.
