The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported the August 2020 Consumer Price Index (IHK) contracted by 0.05%, resulting in 0.93% year to date IHK. Meanwhile, the annual IHK recorded at 1.32% YOY inflation. The slowing inflation was in line with the decrease in August core inflation which reached 0.229% and contributed 0.19%. The calendar inflation was recorded at 1.32%.
