BI Rate Remains at 5.75% in July 2026

The Bank of Indonesia (BI) decided to hold its benchmark interest rate or the BI Rate, at 5.75% in the Board of Governors Meeting (RDG) held on 21st-22nd July 2026. BI also kept the Deposit Facility rate at 4.75% and the Lending Facility rate at 6.50%. The decisions are part of the integrated extension of BI to consistently strengthen Rupiah’s exchange rate amidst the massive global uncertainty and to maintain the inflation rate in 2026-2027.
