The manufacturing industry was under pressure in the second quarter of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This condition is projected to hinder economic growth in the third quarter of 2020. The Central Bank of Indonesia (BI) indicated that the Manufacturing Index (PMI) in the second quarter was recorded at 28.55% or 45.64% lower than in the previous quarter and even lower than the PMI in the second quarter of 2019 when it was recorded at 52.66%.
