BI: Indonesia’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Declines by US2.1 Billion in September 2019
Monday, 7 October 2019
The Central Bank of Indonesia (BI) recorded US124.3 billion decline in foreign exchange reserve in September, or US$2.1 billion less than in August 2019 when it was recorded at US$126.4 billion. However, the reserve is considered high and equal to the funding of 7.2 months of import or 7 months of import and foreign debt payment by the government. The decline was due to foreign debt payment and the decline in foreign exchange deposit by banks in BI. -Kontan.co.id
