BI: Consumer Confidence in April 2026 Rises, Economy in Optimistic Zone

The Bank of Indonesia Consumer Confidence Index (IKK) showed a 0.1 point increase from 122.9 in March 2026 to 123.0 in April 2026, or within the optimistic zone. This index indicates well maintained consumers’ confidence in the economic condition. This development was affected by the decline of the Consumers’ Expectation Index (IEK) to 129.6 in the same period from 130.4, while the Current Economic Condition Index (IKE) increased from 115.4 to 116.5.
