2026 State Budget Records 0.53% Deficit

The Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa stated that the 2026 State Revenue and Expenditure (APBN) recorded 0.53% deficit of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) or at Rp135.7 trillion as of the end of February 2026 despite the increase of 12.8% yoy to Rp358 trillion in state revenue. The 2026 APBN is estimated to record Rp698.15 trillion deficit or equal to 2.68% of the GDP, however he remains optimistic that the national economy will reach 6% growth by the end of this year.
