December Opening for Malaysia’s Tallest Tower
Date: Wednesday, 13 November 2019

Exchange 106 is expected to open its doors to tenants starting from December. The office tower, standing at 492 metres within the newly established financial district of Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), is set to be Malaysia’s tallest tower and the capital city’s latest iconic skyscraper.

Our thoughts: Exchange 106 has about 2.6 million sq ft of leasable space. The building is reported to have achieved 20% pre-committed occupancy with tenants that include a top-five Fortune 500 global consulting firm, a Hong Kong-based multinational personal care brand, some of the world's most recognized e-commerce platforms and one of the most globally renowned serviced office and co-working brands. The landlord aims to achieve circa 40% to 50% occupancy by end of 2020. Going forward, the office market in Kuala Lumpur City remains challenging amid the high influx of new supply.
